Valentina Fava is Assistant Professor in Economic History at the Department of Management of Ca‘ Foscari University in Venice. Fava holds a PhD in economic and social history from Bocconi University in Milan. She held positions at Technical University of Berlin (IPODI Marie Curie Fellow), Czech Academy of Sciences (Purkyne Fellow), Helsinki Collegium for Advanced Studies; European University Institute (Max Weber Fellow). Her work focuses on the history of technology and business in Central and Eastern Europe, and on the history of the automotive industry and the engineering profession.
