Saša Božić is Full Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of Zadar. He was the Head of the Department of Sociology, University of Zadar (2012-2017), President of the Croatian Sociological Association (2013-2015) and Director of the Joint Doctoral Studies in Sociology of  Regional and Local Development, (University of Zadar, Croatia and University of Teramo, Italy, 2013 – 2020). He is the organising director of the international postgraduate course Divided Societies in the Inter-University Centre, Dubrovnik, since 2010. His research interests include migration, diaspora and transnational social spaces.
